Sandra Duru alleges Natasha offered money to fabricate accusation against Akpabio

U.S.-based Nigerian activist, Dr. Sandra Duru, has alleged that suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan offered her the sum of N200 million to falsely accuse Senate President Godswill Akpabio of organ harvesting.

Duru, popularly known as Prof. Mgbeke, made the claims during a Facebook live broadcast on Thursday night, during which she displayed phone call logs and WhatsApp messages purportedly exchanged between her and Senator Natasha.

The evidence, she said, has been submitted to authorities in the U.S. and other international bodies for forensic analysis.

According to Duru, the messages and recordings disprove Natasha’s claim that they had never communicated. She stated that when the sexual harassment allegation against Akpabio appeared to gain no traction, the Senator proposed fabricating an organ harvesting story instead.

“Natasha told me to link Akpabio with the death of a young lady, Umoren, claiming her organs were removed for the Senate President’s wife. I refused, and that’s when she began to threaten me,” Duru said.

The activist called on Nigerian law enforcement, the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), and international security agencies to investigate Natasha’s actions, especially in relation to her knowledge of Umoren’s death, which she allegedly kept secret for years.

In her one-hour, eight-minute broadcast, Duru accused the suspended senator of targeting influential men with false accusations for political gain.

She also stated that Natasha admitted she had no evidence of any sexual harassment against Akpabio.

“There is no sexual harassment, no organ harvesting—just a web of lies,” Duru stated. “She called Nigerians ‘gullible and hungry’ and said the plan was to force Akpabio to step down in order to destabilize what she referred to as a ‘Yoruba government’. I was shocked.”

Duru also revealed that Natasha insulted several public figures during their conversations, including former Minister of Education, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, whom she reportedly referred to as a “useful idiot.”

According to the activist, Natasha confessed she was promised either the Kogi State governorship ticket or the position of Minister of Petroleum Resources in exchange for discrediting Akpabio.

“Her agenda, she told me, is not just about Akpabio. It’s to bring down the President himself because some forces do not want a Yoruba-led administration to continue beyond one term,” Duru alleged.

Duru called on the Nigeria Police Force to take up the matter and urged Nigerians to scrutinize such politically motivated claims, warning that “blind loyalty to deception will destroy not only individuals but the nation’s democratic institutions.”
