Bandits lay siege to Kebbi community, kidnap farm supervisor

Must read

An unexpected incident of kidnapping was recorded in Ngaski Local Government Area of Kebbi State after armed men abducted a farm supervisor named Sani Ango from a farmhouse in Gwarin Baka.

According to eyewitness accounts, the victim was alone when the attackers arrived at about 2 a.m. on Thursday.

The rest of the farm staff had already left for the day, leaving Ango vulnerable.

Witnesses say the gunmen shot into the air to intimidate nearby residents but did not harm anyone during the invasion.

The abductors have yet to initiate contact with the victim’s family, and their motives or demands remain unclear.

This incident stands out as Ngaski is not known to be a hotspot for criminal activities like kidnapping or banditry within the state.
