President Bola Tinubu is set to embark on a one-day official visit to Katsina State this Friday, marking his first trip to the state since taking office in 2023.
The announcement was made by the State Commissioner for Information, Dr. Bala Salisu-Zango, during a media briefing held on Wednesday in Katsina.
During the visit, the President is expected to commission two major infrastructure projects recently completed by Governor Dikko Radda’s administration.
These include the newly constructed Eastern Bypass, which stretches from Dutsin-ma Road through Kano and Daura Roads, ending at Yandaki in Kaita Local Government Area.
The second project is the State Agricultural Mechanization Centre, aimed at boosting modern farming practices in the region.
Dr. Salisu-Zango added that the visit would also allow the state government to discuss urgent matters with the President, especially issues related to security.
He called on the people of Katsina to come out in large numbers to welcome President Tinubu and maintain peace throughout the visit.
