Meta has announced new features for its AI assistant, enhancing personalization and social interaction across its platforms.
The update includes improved contextual awareness and a new ‘Discover’ feed designed to encourage users to explore and share creative uses of AI.
In a statement , the tech giant explained that the upgraded assistant can now tailor responses based on users’ preferences — such as interests in travel, language learning, or hobbies — by drawing insights from interactions across Meta platforms.
The company said, “Meta AI now uses information from users’ profiles and their activity across Meta apps to deliver more relevant and helpful responses. Those who link their Facebook and Instagram accounts via the Accounts Centre will enjoy a more integrated experience.”
The newly introduced ‘Discover’ feed enables users to browse trending prompts, experiment with popular ideas, and share their own AI-generated content — all while keeping full control of their privacy. Meta clarified that no content will be posted publicly unless a user explicitly chooses to share it.
According to the company, these updates reflect its goal of developing AI systems that not only deliver smarter responses but also enhance how users interact with technology and each other.
