A popular TikTok content creator known simply as ‘Disturbing’, who collapsed during a live session at his home in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State, has been buried.
A widely circulated video captured the final moments of the content creator, showing him experiencing what appeared to be a seizure before collapsing.
A resident, who asked to remain anonymous, confirmed to our correspondent that the young man passed away on Friday, a day after the incident occurred.
According to him, the family decided to proceed with immediate burial.
The deceased was an active supporter of the ‘Justice for Mohbad’ campaign, and members of the movement, including Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, have visited the family to pay their condolences.
Following his death, the late TikToker’s wife, identified simply as Omowunmi, shared in a TikTok post that her husband struck his head on a stone after falling.
She explained that she was in the kitchen preparing a meal when neighbours called her attention to the scene.
“Yesterday morning, my husband was doing a live TikTok video while I was cooking. Suddenly, he had a seizure, fell, and hit his head on a stone nearby. Blood started coming from his head. Some neighbours who witnessed it thought he had fainted and poured water on him. A young boy quickly ran to call me,” she recounted.
She added that they immediately rushed him to the hospital, where he was placed on oxygen but sadly died on Friday morning.
Omowunmi also clarified that her husband had a history of seizures and was undergoing treatment, dismissing speculations of a spiritual attack.
She revealed that the last seizure he experienced before this incident was in February and emphasized that she had always been watchful over him.
“If I hadn’t been in the kitchen, I would have been able to catch him when the seizure started. It was a medical condition, not a spiritual attack,” she stated.
