A tragic accident along the Oyo-Ogbomoso road has left two people dead and six others injured.
The incident, which occurred on Friday, involved a commercial Nissan vehicle that reportedly crashed into rocks placed as barricades by a construction company near the Ipeba area.
According to eyewitness accounts, the crash claimed the lives of the driver and a female passenger, whose identities were yet to be confirmed at the time of filing this report.
Personnel from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Oolo Unit, arrived promptly at the scene to manage the situation.
The injured victims were transported to Bowen University Teaching Hospital for urgent medical care, while the bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Teaching Hospital morgue.
