In a major crackdown on criminal activity, security operatives in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) apprehended 104 individuals during a series of coordinated raids conducted on April 23, 2025.
According to information obtained by Zagazola Makama, the operation was executed across several known black spots, including Karshi, Kubwa, Kabusa, Nyanya, Lugbe, Utako, Maitama, Apo, Mpape, Karmo, Tungan Maje, and Gwagwalada police divisions.
Authorities reported seizing various weapons, including cutlasses, along with substances believed to be Indian hemp and other illegal drugs.
All those arrested are currently in police custody, undergoing profiling, interrogation, and further screening. The FCT Police Command confirmed that suspects found guilty of criminal involvement will face prosecution.
