The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has shifted the commencement date of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to April 24, moving it a day earlier than the initial schedule of April 25.
This update was made public on Saturday through a statement issued in Abuja by the board’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin.
According to the statement, the change was made to accommodate critical engagements involving the board and its stakeholders.
Candidates are now advised to start printing their UTME notification slips, which contain key details such as examination date, venue, and time.
Benjamin encouraged candidates to access the official JAMB website—www.jamb.gov.ng—select the “2025 UTME Slip Printing” option, input their registration number, and print out their examination slip.
He also advised all candidates to visit their assigned centres a day or two before the exam date to avoid any last-minute complications.
He assured that all candidates will be placed in centres within the examination towns they selected during registration, with no one assigned outside their preferred location.
