The Olubadan Advisory Council has announced the termination of appointments of two Mogajis (family heads).
The council made this declaration via a statement made available to Afripost on Friday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, Chief Solomon Olugbemiga Ayoade.
The statement noted that revocation of the appointment of two Mogajis has been approved by the Olubadan and the Olubadan Advisory Council.
The affected individuals are Chief Musilu Yekini Olaoye of Peluseriki Compound, Isale Osi, Ibadan and Chief Rasaki Funso Ayinde Oguntobi of Oloola Ogungbesan Compound, Bode, Ibadan.
The statement added that the termination of the two appointments were with immediate effect.
It added that the two Mogajis were removed as a result of non support of their family members to their emergence as Mogajis and other offences detrimental to their positions as Mogajis.
The two Mogajis should henceforth stop parading themselves as Mogajis in Ibadanland, the Olubadan warned.
