The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) has paid condolence visits to the families of a former governor of the state, Dr Victor Omololu Olunloyo and a former gubernatorial candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Yekini Adeojo.
The CCII delegation was led by its President General, Chief Sulaimon Ajeniyi Ajewole.
Recall that Olunloyo died at the age of 89 on Sunday
Adeojo on the other hand died in the early hours of Friday.
At Olunloyo residence, the CCII delegation met the children of the former governor. The first daughter and first son, Oluyemi Olunloyo – Buckner and Gbenga Olunloyo, received the CCII delegation on behalf of the family.
At Adeojo’s residence, the CCII delegation was received by Mr Sherif Adeojo and his wife.
The CCII President General while speaking, described Olunloyo as a genius, an exceptional Ibadan icon who excelled in both mathematics and engineering
He described Adeojo as a notable politician.
On the President General “s entourage were the Secretary General of CCII Mr Adetokunbo Ayobami Subair, 1st Assistant Secretary General Mogaji Ismaheel Kunle Shodeinde, Chief Whip Mrs Abolaji Olowookere, Publicity Secretary Mr Kolawole Olomide and Former Chief Whip Mrs Taiwo Adeniyi.
