Must read

A tragic accident on the Ikorodu-Sagamu Expressway in Ogun State has claimed the lives of four gospel ministers, including the well-known evangelist Ayodeji David, popularly known as Kekere Jesu.

According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the fatal crash was the result of excessive speeding combined with poor visibility, leading to a collision involving multiple vehicles.

Reports suggest that more than 24 people lost their lives in the incident.

Evangelist Kekere Jesu, who had gained popularity through his street evangelism and strong presence on social media, was en route to a church program when the unfortunate event occurred.

News of his passing has sent shockwaves through the Christian community across Nigeria.

Church leaders, fellow ministers, and followers have taken to various platforms to express their sorrow.

The founder of Christ Apostolic Church described the incident as deeply heartbreaking but emphasized faith in God’s will, even in times of loss.

Tributes continue to pour in for the late ministers, especially for their impactful work in youth outreach and rural evangelism. Many have shared comforting scriptures and memories of the ministers’ dedication to their calling.

As loved ones and church members mourn, authorities are once again urging motorists to drive cautiously, particularly during times of low visibility, to avoid further tragedies.
