Suspected gunmen have kidnapped Blessing Adagba, the coordinator of Ngbo Central Development Centre in the Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
Joshua Ukandu, the spokesperson for the Ebonyi State Police Command, confirmed the abduction on Friday in Abakaliki.
Ukandu stated that the incident took place in the early hours of Thursday in the Okposhi Eheku community, Ohaukwu LGA. He assured that an investigation is underway.
“The anti-kidnapping squad has been mobilized to secure the release of the victim. Efforts are being made to ensure her safe return,” Ukandu said.
