Wike commiserates with ex-Benue Gov, Ortom over brother’s death

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has extended heartfelt condolences to the former Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, following the passing of his younger brother, Mr. Bernard Tyozenda Ortom.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, Minister Wike described the death of Bernard Tyozenda Ortom as deeply painful, offering prayers for the repose of his soul.

The statement further conveyed Minister Wike’s solidarity with Ortom, urging him and the Ortom Adorogo family from Guma Local Government Area of Benue State to remain strong during this difficult time and to take comfort in God, the ultimate giver and taker of life.

“I was deeply shocked by the news of Mr. Bernard Tyozenda Ortom’s passing,” Minister Wike remarked. “I understand the grief my brother, His Excellency Dr. Samuel Ortom, must be feeling right now. Despite the overwhelming pain of the loss, I urge the Ortom family to find solace in God, who makes death inevitable.”

On behalf of his family, friends, and associates, the FCT Minister conveyed his deepest sympathies and prayed that God would grant the Ortom Adorogo family the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
