Tinubu appoints Benue factional APC State Chairmen Agada, Omale, others

President Bola Tinubu has
appointed the factional Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, Dr. Austian Agada as the Board Chairman of National Agricultural Seed Council.

Also Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the APC was appointed as the Board Chairman of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).

Alongside this, he also approved the appointment of Hon. Fatuhu Mohammed Buhari from Katsina State as the Director-General of the National Agricultural Seed Council.

In a statement issued by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu also announced the appointment of several APC state chairmen and party leaders as board chairmen of various federal government institutions.

Among them, Mallam Muhammad Massan from Bauchi State was appointed to lead the Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute in Ilorin, while Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas from Kano State will head the Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service.

Hon. Macdonald Ebere from Imo State was placed in charge of the Federal College of Fisheries and Marine Technology in Lagos.

Other appointments include Ubong Stephen Ntukekpo from Akwa Ibom State, who will oversee the National Institute for Freshwater Fish in New Bussa, and Chief Emma Eneukwu, the APC Deputy Chairman (South), who has been named board chairman of the National Automotive Development Council.

Aminu Musa Bobi from Niger State will now lead the National Library of Nigeria, while Pharm. Abass Olayide from Oyo State will chair the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Kaduna.

Alhaji Mohammed Gadaka from Yobe State was appointed to head the Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre, and Benjamin Omale from Benue State was placed in charge of the National Orthopedic Hospital in Enugu. Rufus Bature from Plateau State was named board chairman of the Nigerian Coal Corporation, while Alhaji Abubakar Muhammed Kana from Kebbi State will lead the Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies.

Hon. Donatus Nwankpa from Abia State has been appointed board chairman of the Project Development Institute (PRODA), and Comrade Mustapha Salihu from Adamawa State will now oversee the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).

Additionally, Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu from Abia State was placed in charge of the National Parks Headquarters, while Alhaji Abdulmalik Usman from the Federal Capital Territory was appointed to the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria in Ibadan.

Other appointees include Hon. Ibrahim Tukur El-Sudi from Taraba State, who will oversee the Environmental Health Registration Council of Nigeria, and Sola Elesin from Ekiti State, who was appointed to lead the Nigerian Institute of Mining and Geosciences.

Emperor Jarrett Tenebe from Edo State will chair the Federal College of Agriculture in Akure, while Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani from Zamfara State will oversee the Federal Medical Centre in Azare.

Hon. Aminu Sani Gumel from Jigawa State has been appointed to lead the Federal College of Produce Inspection and Stored Products Technology in Kano, while Barr. Idris Shuaibu from Adamawa State will now oversee the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology in Ibadan.
