The Coalition of Southern Kaduna Youth Groups has declared that their votes during the upcoming 2027 presidential election now belong to President Tinubu and Vice Shettima.
The youths make the declaration why expressing gratitude to President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Governor Uba Sani, and Senator Sunday Marshall Katung for facilitating the establishment of the Federal University of Applied Sciences in Kachia and the Federal Medical Centre in Kafanchan.
During a press briefing in Kaduna on Friday, the coalition’s coordinator, Luke Duniya, described the institutions as a major milestone for Southern Kaduna.
He emphasized that the initiatives would enhance education, healthcare, and job opportunities in the region.
“As beneficiaries of this remarkable development, we will mobilize support for President Tinubu, Governor Sani, and Senator Katung in the 2027 elections,” Duniya stated.
The new university is set to commence operations soon, with its budget already included in the 2025 fiscal plan, ensuring a planned September launch.
Meanwhile, discussions regarding the medical centre’s establishment are ongoing at the federal level.
Duniya praised Senator Katung for his dedication to improving education, healthcare, and economic development in the region.
The coalition also reaffirmed its confidence in his leadership, acknowledging his contributions to the progress of Southern Kaduna.
