The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has adjusted the date for the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), moving it from April 5 to April 10.
This update was disclosed in the board’s weekly bulletin released in Abuja on Monday.
According to the statement, the change was necessary to finalize preparations and integrate new innovations aimed at improving the examination process.
The adjustment also accounts for an increase in the number of test centres.
“The Mock UTME, initially scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2025, will now be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, while the main UTME remains set to commence on April 25, 2025,” the bulletin stated.
JAMB emphasized that the shift aligns with best global practices and recent studies on examination methods, ensuring the mock test serves its intended purpose effectively.
Candidates are encouraged to watch for updates on the printing of their Mock Notification Slip, which will include details of their assigned test centres.
