Must read

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has given the green light for the procurement of a Microsoft 365 license to modernize the Federal Capital Territory Internal Revenue Service (FCT-IRS).

Acting Executive Chairman of FCT-IRS, Michael Ango, announced this decision following the FCT Executive Committee meeting, chaired by Minister Nyesom Wike, in Abuja on Wednesday.

Ango highlighted that the administration is making substantial investments in technology to improve revenue collection and management.

He emphasized that adopting Microsoft 365 will transition many manual processes into digital workflows, enhancing efficiency within the agency.

“The license will facilitate smoother internal communication and streamline our operations,” he stated.

Beyond improving communication, the initiative is expected to minimize paper usage and improve record-keeping through cloud storage, ensuring more secure and organized documentation.

Ango further noted that the digital transformation would strengthen revenue generation efforts, ultimately contributing to the Federal Capital Territory’s development under Wike’s administration.
