Aliko Dangote has announced plans to develop Nigeria’s largest seaport at the Olokola Free Trade Zone in Ogun State, reviving a long-abandoned investment project in the area.
Speaking during a meeting with Governor Dapo Abiodun and the Ogun State Executive Council on Monday, Dangote reaffirmed his commitment to boosting the state’s economic growth through large-scale infrastructure projects.
The proposed seaport, once completed, is expected to enhance trade, logistics, and industrialization, solidifying Ogun State’s position as a key player in Nigeria’s maritime sector.
Governor Dapo Abiodun welcomed the initiative, praising Dangote for his unwavering contributions to Nigeria’s economic expansion.
