The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has extended the deadline for its ongoing recruitment exercise following complaints from applicants struggling to access the registration portal.
Initially announced on January 27, 2025, the recruitment drive offered over 70 positions across various ministries, departments, and agencies.
However, many prospective applicants reported difficulties in submitting their applications, leading to widespread calls for an extension.
FCSC spokesperson Hassan Taiwo acknowledged that while some applicants faced technical issues, others were able to complete their registrations successfully.
In an official statement published in two national newspapers and shared by Taiwo on Monday, the commission confirmed that the new application deadline has been moved to March 17, 2025, replacing the previous cutoff date of March 10, 2025.
The notice encouraged eligible Nigerians to take advantage of the extended period and assured applicants that the recruitment process would be fair and transparent.
The updated information is now accessible on the FCSC website and in two major newspapers in Nigeria.
