Gunmen kill Miyetti Allah leader in Kwara

Unidentified gunmen have killed Idris Sakaina, the chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in Kwara State.

The attack occurred around 10 p.m. on Saturday outside Sakaina’s residence in Oke Ose, Ilorin, where the assailants shot him before fleeing the scene.

Eyewitnesses reported that the 32-year-old was left in a pool of blood, with no belongings taken from him.

A witness, Aina’u Sarki, disclosed that he had spoken with Sakaina just 20 minutes before the attack. “I received a call informing me that he had been shot dead,” he said.
