Former immigration chief David Parradang killed after abduction in Abuja

David Shikfu Parradang, a former Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, has reportedly been killed by kidnappers after being abducted in Abuja on Monday night.

As of now, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has yet to release an official statement on the incident.

Efforts to reach the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, for comments have been unsuccessful.

Parradang, who dedicated over 30 years to public service, held various positions within the Nigerian Immigration Service across different states, including Kano, Lagos, Kwara, Enugu, and the FCT.

The details surrounding his abduction and subsequent killing remain unclear, as authorities have not provided further updates.

His death highlights the growing insecurity in Nigeria, particularly the increasing cases of kidnappings in the capital.
