The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bashir Ajibola, has affirmed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will seek re-election in 2027, insisting that there will be “no vacancy in Aso Rock.”
Ajibola made this declaration over the weekend in Ilorin, Kwara State, during an agricultural and human capital development empowerment programme organized by Senator Saliu Mustapha, the lawmaker representing Kwara Central in the Senate.
Addressing APC supporters and beneficiaries at the event, he urged them to continue backing Tinubu’s administration, particularly in the implementation of its food security initiatives.
“The policies under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda are making a positive impact, helping the country move towards self-sufficiency. The food security reforms are already delivering results,” Ajibola stated.
“I encourage everyone to support President Tinubu and Senator Mustapha in the coming elections. Let me reiterate—there is no vacancy in Aso Rock in 2027.”
The event was attended by key government figures, including the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari, and Deputy Senate President, Senator Jibrin Barau.
In his remarks, Senator Mustapha reaffirmed his commitment to President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, stressing the need for investments in education and economic empowerment.
“To fully align with Mr. President’s vision, we must prioritize education and create opportunities that will enable our people to contribute meaningfully to the economy,” he stated.
