Ex-president Buhari relocates to Kaduna residence after nearly two years absence

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has relocated to his residence in Kaduna State after spending almost two years in Daura, Katsina State, following his exit from office in May 2023.

Buhari, who chose a quieter life away from active politics after his tenure, was accompanied to Kaduna by several prominent figures.

They include; Vice President Kashim Shettima, Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum, and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani.

Other dignitaries in attendance included Mamman Daura, former and current deputy governors of Katsina State, a former Inspector General of Police, ex-ministers, and some of his longtime aides.

While in Daura, Buhari largely stayed out of the political spotlight, focusing on private matters.

Recently, he disclosed that he has been earning income by renting out one of his two houses in Kaduna.
