Former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has arrived at the assembly complex in a dramatic turn of events.
Obasa, accompanied by security personnel, reportedly entered the Speaker’s Office around noon on Thursday.
His presence follows the withdrawal of security aides attached to the current Speaker, Mojisola Meranda.
Confirming the incident, Meranda’s Chief Press Secretary, Segun Ajiboye, alleged that Obasa and his team forcefully gained access to the office.
A source close to Obasa also confirmed their presence at the assembly.
