One week after a tragic accident in Felele claimed the lives of five students from the Federal University Lokoja, another road mishap has occurred in the same area.
According to reports, the latest incident involved a truck transporting tiles, which lost control and overturned on Monday.
The situation triggered panic among residents and passersby, who fled for safety.
Unlike the previous crash, this accident did not result in any fatalities.
Meanwhile, the Federal University Lokoja remains shut indefinitely as students continue to express concerns over the recurring accidents on Felele Road.
Members of the public have urged the Federal Government to take immediate steps to improve safety along the highway and prevent further tragedies.
