A student lost their life after a section of a classroom building collapsed at Government Girls’ Science and Technical College (GGSTC) in Potiskum, Yobe State.
The incident reportedly occurred during school hours on Thursday, leaving several other students injured.
The wounded students were quickly taken to a hospital for medical attention.
As of the time of this report, the cause of the collapse remains unknown.
GGSTC Potiskum, a public boarding school founded in 1979, focuses on providing science and technical education for girls in Yobe State.
