Former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode has alleged that Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan played a role in funding Boko Haram through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
In a statement shared on social media Monday, Fani-Kayode described Gambaryan as an enabler of terrorism and economic sabotage.
He dismissed claims by the Binance executive that Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, sought financial backing for political ambitions.
Gambaryan had also accused some lawmakers of requesting a $150 million bribe—an allegation that both the Nigerian government and legislators have denied.
Fani-Kayode warned that Gambaryan would face divine retribution for his alleged actions.
Referring to the Binance executive in a post on X, Fani-Kayode wrote, “Tigran Gambaryan, a foreign national and an executive of Binance, has made serious allegations against Nuhu Ribadu, the Department of State Services (DSS), and members of the legislature. Believe him at your own risk.
“I can recognize a CIA operative, a terrorism sponsor, an economic saboteur, and a financial criminal when I see one.
“He is among those who used USAID funds to support Boko Haram. Prepare for divine judgment, Tigran. Justice will eventually catch up with you for the harm you have inflicted on our country.”
