Bishop Oyedepo: Our aircraft was divine provision, not bought with offerings

Must read

The founder of Living Faith Church, also known as Winners’ Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has clarified that the church’s aircraft was acquired through divine provision and not purchased with offerings or tithes.

Speaking during a church service, Oyedepo dismissed claims that members’ contributions funded the purchase, emphasizing that the aircraft came as a miraculous provision from God.

“He (God) bought the first aircraft without any prayer, without any idea that the aircraft was coming. He said it, He delivered it—nobody was pressured, and there was no strain on the offering,” he stated.

Reaffirming that no special fundraising was conducted for the aircraft, the cleric stressed that he simply believed in God’s promises.

“The offering didn’t buy it—God bought it. No one under heaven was contacted. God said it, I believed it, and that settled it,” he said.

Oyedepo further explained that acquiring the aircraft was never an ambition but rather a fulfillment of a divine plan.

“If God had asked me, ‘David, when do you want the aircraft?’ I would have said, ‘God, take it easy. We’re not ready for that.’ I didn’t even have time to find out how much it cost, yet He provided it,” he added.

He also highlighted the aircraft’s extensive use, noting that it was not just for short trips but was being utilized for travel across Africa.
