According to the spokesperson for the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Muyiwa Adejobi, the suspect was involved in a violent altercation with one William Wisdom in the Ikoyi area of Lagos last week.

“Following a heated argument, Okeke allegedly rammed his Lexus saloon car into William, inflicting severe injuries. The victim was immediately rushed to Gbagada General Hospital, where he later succumbed to his wounds,” Adejobi stated in a press release on Sunday.

He further revealed that detectives visited the crime scene, and the deceased’s body has been moved to the IDH Morgue in Yaba for an autopsy. The suspect is currently in police custody, awaiting further investigation and arraignment.

Adejobi urged Nigerians to avoid violent confrontations and seek legal means to resolve disputes instead of taking the law into their own hands.
