President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially launched the 2025 Joint Task Force Commanders Conference, held at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.
The President was represented at the event by the Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru.
The conference aims to evaluate the performance of the military’s joint task forces over the past year, build on previous achievements, and devise new strategies for operations in 2025.
The event, which began on February 5, is scheduled to conclude on February 7.
Dignitaries in attendance include former Chiefs of Defence Staff, Gen. Martins Luther Agwai and Gen. Lucky Irabor; former Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Farouk Yahya; Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar; the current Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa; service chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police, the Controller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service, and members of the National Assembly.
