The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially recognized Sunday Ude-Okoye as the party’s National Secretary.
This decision was made public by BoT Chairman and former Senate President, Adulphus Wabara, during the 80th trustees’ meeting currently taking place in Abuja.
The Board also distanced itself from Senator Samuel Anyanwu, confirming Ude-Okoye’s appointment following a meeting held in Asaba, Delta State.
Wabara explained that the affirmation came after a thorough review of all relevant documents and issues from both Ude-Okoye and Anyanwu.
This development follows the endorsement of the Court of Appeal’s ruling by PDP governors, led by Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, on January 31, and a call for the National Working Committee to implement the judgment.
