APC warns Nigerians against PDP comeback, cites risk of negative consequences

Must read

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged Nigerians to reject any attempt by the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to return to power, warning that such a move would have dire consequences for the country.

Bala Ibrahim, the APC’s National Publicity Director, made this appeal while addressing reporters, emphasizing that the negative impact of the PDP’s 16-year rule is still evident across the nation.

He stressed that the APC has demonstrated superior leadership and a better capacity to manage Nigeria’s challenges compared to the opposition party.

“Nigeria is still suffering from the consequences of the PDP’s 16 years of misrule,” Ibrahim said. “People seem to forget the rot left behind. Are we really considering giving these clowns another chance to ruin the country? This is just the beginning, I assure you.”

Describing the PDP as “incompetent,” Ibrahim criticized the party’s inability to resolve its internal conflicts, arguing that this is further proof of its lack of leadership capacity.

He also dismissed claims that the APC was responsible for the PDP’s internal crisis, questioning how the ruling party could be blamed for the opposition’s struggles.

“We won’t even stay near them. What right do they have to blame us for their own problems? How can the APC be responsible for their leadership crisis?” he queried.

Ibrahim concluded by suggesting that the PDP should take lessons from the APC’s Progressive Institute, established by the party’s national chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje.

“If the PDP wants to understand how to play politics without bitterness, they should come and learn from us,” he added.
