Former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai has mocked former aide to President Goodluck Jonathan and spokesperson for Atiku campaign organization in the 2023 general election, Reno Omokri.
El-Rufai blasted Omokri recalling the case of Wendell Simlin, the now infamous moniker, who Omokri had allegedly impersonated in his attempt to link the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Lamido Sanusi to Boko Haram.
Rufai who earlier described Omokri as “a political mercenary retained by any paying person or government.” shared screenshots of Omokri’s led protests against Tinubu at the Chatam house in London.
El-Rufai captioned the post; “Wendell Simlin………once upon a time in London……………………….”
The feud between Omokri and El-Rufai thickens after the ex-media aide said Mallam Nasir El-Rufai’s assertion that he was not interested in serving in President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet is untrue.
