A court has granted bail to Omoyele Sowore, the convener of the #RevolutionNow movement, setting the amount at ₦10 million with one surety of equal financial standing.
The surety must be a reputable individual who owns landed property of equivalent value.
To fulfil the bail requirements, the surety is required to submit the original property documents and a passport photograph to the court registrar.
Delivering the ruling, Justice Musa Liman also directed Sowore to surrender his international passport to the registrar.
The judge further ordered that Sowore must meet the bail conditions within 24 hours; otherwise, he will be placed in police custody until the requirements are satisfied.
