NCAA boss, Chris Najomo says FG money belongs to him, staff in viral video

A video now making rounds on the internet have captured the Director General of Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, Chris Najomo saying the funds from the Federal Government belongs to himself and his members of staff.

A X User and techie identified as Tonye Barcanista made this development known in a video he shared on the microblogging platform on Tuesday.

Barcanista who further maintained that Najomo is an uncle to the minister for Avaition, Festus Keyamo added that he addressed himself as substantial DG of the agency despite controversies surrounding his acting appointment.

He further stated that Najomo had done next to nothing in the areas of airline safety resulting in reccuring case of loss of airline tyres under his watch.

He wrote; “Despite the recent concern in the aviation industry, particularly as it concerns safety, the Acting Director General, DG, Chris Najomo has been caught in a viral video telling his staff that the money released to the agency is for him and his staff to spend.

“The Acting DG whose tenure has since expired was also caught in the video referring to himself as the substantial DG amid controversy surrounding his status in the agency.

“The DG believed to be an uncle to the Honorable Minister, Festus Keyamo has faced criticism lately for failing to sanction a single airline since he assumed role in acting capacity despite the incessant flight delays in the industry.

“Experts believe he has done little with regard to airline safety as under his watch, a helicopter crash had occurred with the investigative report indicting the NCAA which he heads.

“Loss of airline tyres on the runway under his watch has equally generated doubts and concerns on the performance of the NCAA which he supervises.

“Most controversial of all is his latest comment that he would share government money with his staff. Nigerians have continued to react to the video. Watch.”
