Indigenes of Ibadan under the auspices of Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, CCII have condoled Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state over the death of his elder brother, Engineer Sunday Makinde.
Reports indicated that Engineer Sunday Makinde, the elder brother of Governor Seyi Makinde died in the early hours of Friday.
He was aged 65.
CCII in a statement signed by its President General, Chief Sulaimon Ajeniyi Ajewole expressed sadness over the death of the Governor’s brother.
Ajewole in the statement made available to journalists through the Publicity Secretary of the organisation, Kola Olomide, described the deceased as a humble and accomplished individual.
Ajewole maintained that the deceased had contributed significantly to the society in all areas
He added that the deceased would be remembered by members of his immediate family and other residents of the state.
