Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has expressed deep sorrow over the death of the son of Federal Capital Territory Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu, describing it as an unimaginable pain to bear.
In a heartfelt post on X on Tuesday, January 21, Atiku called the news of the young Disu’s tragic death in a car crash heartbreaking. The incident has thrown the family and their loved ones into mourning.
Atiku wrote, “The news about the tragic loss of the son of the Commissioner of Police in FCT in a ghastly auto crash is heartbreaking.” He prayed for the deceased’s soul to rest in peace and for the family to find strength during this painful time.
“It is the prayer and expectation of every parent that their children should succeed them. But when nature decides the matter in reverse order, the pain is difficult to bear,” Atiku added.
“My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Police Commissioner Olatunji Disu. May God grant them the comfort to bear this agonising loss,” he concluded.
