Trump arrives in Washington ahead of second inauguration

Donald Trump arrived in Washington on Saturday as preparations continued for his inauguration and the start of his second term as President of the United States.

The Republican leader, accompanied by his wife, Melania, and other family members, landed at Dulles International Airport before attending a private event at his Virginia golf club. The event featured a fireworks display to mark the occasion.

Speaking to NBC News, Trump revealed plans to sign an unprecedented number of executive orders following his inaugural address scheduled for Monday.

“The exact number hasn’t been finalized, but it will set a new record,” he stated. Trump also emphasized his intent to immediately reverse several policies from the Biden administration.

One of Trump’s key priorities includes implementing a mass deportation program targeting undocumented immigrants.

“Deportations will start very, very quickly,” Trump said, declining to specify which cities would be affected. “You’ll see the actions unfold firsthand,” he added.
