Comrade Solomon Olugbemiga Ayoade, the Chief Press Secretary to the Olubadan of Ibadanland Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin has been installed as the Asiwaju of Eleruko village.
Our correspondent reports that Eleruko village is located in Lagelu local government area of Ibadan.
The installation of Ayoade was done by the Baale of Eleruko, Chief Olawatosin Akintola during the 8th Igbo – Elerin Day on Saturday.
Akintola while speaking charged the new Asiwaju to lead and mobilize all sons daughters of Eleruko in Nigeria and diaspora to ensure the unity, progress and development of Eleruko at urban and rural cities.
He further admonished the new Asiwaju in conjunction with elders, executive members and entire descendants to ensure regular attendance at meetings, contributing our quotas and peaceful dispute resolutions where and when the need arises.
He added that his office is widely open for visits, counselling and needed information for he is a listening leader and accredited representative of Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Ayoade in his acceptance speech, assured the Baale through elders Council that all efforts will be put in place to achieve aims and objectives of Eleruko town.
