In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, on Saturday in Osogbo, Governor Adeleke lauded the vigilance and intelligence efforts of the SSS operatives, emphasizing their role in neutralizing potential threats to public safety.

“The actions of the SSS to address this security concern provide assurance that Nigeria’s security agencies are prepared to maintain peace and protect lives across the nation,” Adeleke stated.

The governor acknowledged the intelligence and dedication of the SSS personnel, who meticulously tracked the suspects’ activities and acted promptly to prevent any harm.

He described the development as a significant relief for both the state and the country as a whole.

“I commend the security operatives for their swift and intelligence-driven operation.

“Their efforts reinforce our confidence in their ability to safeguard the people,” Adeleke said.

Governor Adeleke assured residents that his administration would continue collaborating closely with security agencies, providing them with the necessary support to ensure the safety of lives and property in the state.

“As the chief security officer of Osun State, I will prioritize the security of our people and work hand-in-hand with the security forces to maintain law and order.

“The strong relationship between our administration and the security agencies will be sustained,” he added.

He urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities, emphasizing collective responsibility in maintaining peace.

“Together, we will keep Osun as the most peaceful state in Nigeria,” Adeleke concluded.
