No fewer than nine persons have died following a ghastly road accident that occurred along Otukpo Adoka road in Benue state.
It was learnt that an articulated rammed into a building in the community, killing nine family members.
In a video posted on Facebook by a user, Steve Elaigwu Oguwuche, men of the Federal Road Safety Corps were sighted at the scene of the incident.
Oguwuche captioned the videos, saying “I don’t like to share bad news on my wall but this is a sad News…
“A big truck in the early hours of yesterday rammed into a building at Okete village, along Otukpo Adoka road.
According to an eye witness, about nine family members died instantly.
“The incident occured when the victims were said to be sleeping comfortably in their house.
“This is a clear reminder that no one knows his or her actual appointment time or date with death.May the souls of those who lost their lives in this very unfortunate incident rest in peace, Amen!
“May God also console the deceased family. Amen!
