Nigerian singer and activist Seun Kuti has explained that he is not against European people, but rather against European colonialism.
The controversial singer had shared a post on Instagram featuring one of his quotes that highlights the importance of creating a fairer world.
The quote read, “I’m against European colonisation and imperialism, but that doesn’t mean I’m against European people. Many Europeans have been our allies in fighting against greed and unfair systems, working to make the world a fairer place for everyone.”
Kuti pointed out that his criticism of European colonization and imperialism is not meant to show anger towards European people.
