The price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly referred to as petrol, is expected to increase following a 4.74% hike in depot prices.
This adjustment comes in response to the recent rise in crude oil prices, including Nigeria’s Bonny Light, which climbed to $80 per barrel this week, up from $73 per barrel last week.
Several depots have already adjusted their loading prices. Swift Depot raised its price from N907 per litre to N950, while Wosbab Depot also increased its price to N950 per litre, up from N909.
Similarly, Sahara Depot adjusted its rate to N950 per litre from N910, and Shellplux Depot raised its price to N960 per litre, compared to the previous N908.
