An Oyo State High Court in Ring Road, Ibadan, has granted bail to Olori Naomi Silekunola, Alhaji Oriyomi Hazmat, and Abdulahi Fasasi.
The decision was delivered on Monday by Justice K.B. Olawoyin, presiding over Court 8.
The ruling followed a bail application presented by the legal representatives of the three defendants, who had previously argued their case on January 7. Justice Olawoyin outlined five strict conditions for the bail.
The conditions include a bail sum of ₦10 million, submission of documents for two landed properties within the court’s jurisdiction by sureties, and the surrender of the defendants’ international passports.
Additionally, the court prohibited the defendants from granting any interviews while the case is ongoing.
The court’s decision comes amidst heightened public interest, with the next proceedings set to follow the fulfilment of these conditions.
