The South East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA), a socio-political group, has warned northern politicians aspiring for the 2027 presidential election to reconsider their plans, insisting that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should be allowed to complete his tenure.
In a statement titled “2027: It’s Tinubu or Nobody”, SERHA’s South East Coordinator, Belusochukwu Enwere, expressed the group’s unwavering support for Tinubu’s administration. He praised the President’s efforts to address Nigeria’s socio-economic challenges and ensure stable governance.
“While some critics claim the economy is struggling under his leadership, others recognize Tinubu’s strides toward policy stability and improved governance. His nearly two years in office have demonstrated a commitment to tackling pressing issues,” Enwere stated.
Enwere also highlighted Tinubu’s recent visit to Enugu State, where he commissioned developmental projects, as a testament to his dedication to advancing the South East region.
He commended Tinubu’s political will in fostering peace, security, and economic reforms, asserting that the President remains the best option for Nigeria’s leadership in the coming years.
“To those northern political hawks aiming for 2027, we advise patience. Tinubu deserves the full two terms of his mandate—4 + 4 = 8,” Enwere declared.
SERHA reaffirmed its steadfast support for Tinubu’s re-election bid, describing their resolve as a “No Retreat, No Surrender” mission. The group concluded that Tinubu’s vision for lifting Nigeria and Africa out of poverty leaves no room for any alternative leadership in Aso Rock come 2027.
