We’re unbothered by rumored opposition merger – Nasarawa Gov Sule

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has declared that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) remains unfazed by speculation about a potential merger among opposition parties.

Speaking during a television interview on Thursday, January 9, Governor Sule emphasized that President Bola Tinubu’s administration has introduced impactful policies designed to benefit citizens in the long run.

According to the governor, Nigerians are already beginning to feel the positive effects of these policies, and the country’s economy under the APC-led government is showing steady growth.

“Some of the policies of this administration have long-term benefits that will favor the ordinary Nigerian,” Sule stated.

He dismissed concerns over opposition activities ahead of the 2027 elections, asserting that neither the APC nor President Tinubu is worried about rumored plans of opposition parties. Sule also downplayed reports of secret meetings held by opposition leaders, describing them as inconsequential.

The governor called on Nigerians to remain committed to supporting the current administration, expressing confidence in its ability to deliver on its promises.

“The leadership of our party is not losing sleep over these nocturnal gatherings,” he added.
