Governor Radda reshuffles cabinet, assigns key roles to commissioners

Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State has made significant changes to his cabinet, according to a statement issued on Monday by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula-Mohammed.

As part of the reshuffle, Malik Anas, a newly appointed commissioner, has been assigned to lead the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.

Highlighting Anas’s qualifications, Kaula-Mohammed noted that he holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Bayero University, Kano.

Anas has also served as Katsina State’s Accountant-General and is a member of several professional bodies, including the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria.

In other changes, Bello Kagara, who previously oversaw the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, has been moved to the Ministry of Finance.

Bashir Tanimu, the former Finance Commissioner, now heads the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

Yusuf Rabi’u-Jirdede, who was in charge of the Ministry of Special Duties, has been transferred to the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, and Investment.

Meanwhile, Adnan Nahabu will take over the Ministry of Special Duties after being reassigned from the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, and Investment.

Governor Radda urged both the newly appointed and reassigned commissioners to deliver exceptional service in their respective roles, emphasizing the importance of maintaining high standards in public service.
