Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has reshuffled his cabinet, resulting in the dismissal of five commissioners.
The announcement was made in a press statement released on Tuesday by Mukhtar Gidado, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Governor.
The statement explained that the move was aimed at bringing new ideas and energy to governance. Those affected include the commissioners for Education, Internal Security and Home Affairs, Information and Communication, Agriculture, and Religious Affairs and Societal Reorientation.
Governor Mohammed expressed his appreciation to the outgoing commissioners for their dedication and contributions, acknowledging their role in advancing key initiatives and policies of his administration.
To fill the vacant positions, the governor has submitted the names of replacements to the Bauchi State House of Assembly for security clearance and confirmation.
He also nominated additional individuals for other strategic roles to strengthen governance in the state.
