President Tinubu arrives in Enugu to unveil landmark projects

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Enugu State for a one-day official visit to inaugurate key development projects.

Landing at Akanu Ibiam International Airport at approximately 1:25 p.m., the President embraced local culture by wearing the traditional Igbo Ishiagu attire and a matching red cap.

During his visit, President Tinubu is set to commission multiple projects initiated by Governor Peter Mbah.

These include the Enugu International Conference Centre, 30 fully equipped Smart Green Schools out of 260 under construction, and 60 completed Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres, also part of a larger initiative spanning the state’s 260 wards.

Additionally, he will unveil a modern Command and Control Centre alongside 150 patrol vehicles equipped with advanced AI-enabled surveillance systems.

The President was joined on the trip by National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu and other federal officials.

Welcoming him at the airport were prominent figures such as Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah, Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, Abia State Governor Dr. Alex Otti, the Anambra Deputy Governor, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Benjamin Kalu, former Senate President Anyim Pius Anyim, and Minister of Works Dave Umahi, among others.
