Yahaya Bello welcomes Governor Ododo’s parents

Former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, on Thursday received the parents of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, Alhaji Ahmed Sani and Hajia Habibat Ahmed Sani, at his residence in Okene.

The visit highlighted the relationship between the two families and their shared commitment to Kogi State.

During the meeting, Bello expressed deep appreciation for the support and prayers of Alhaji and Hajia Sani.

He commended their dedication to raising disciplined children, noting that their values were evident in Governor Ododo’s leadership.

He described his decision to back Ododo as a deliberate choice, emphasizing the governor’s compassion and commitment to the people.

“Your son has proven to be a worthy successor. His leadership, driven by empathy and a desire for development, assures me that Kogi State will continue to thrive. I am confident he will build on the foundation we laid for the good of all,” Bello said.

In response, Alhaji Ahmed Sani thanked Bello for his unwavering confidence in Governor Ododo and acknowledged the challenges Bello had faced during his tenure.

He described them as necessary tests of leadership and expressed optimism about Bello’s future endeavors.

The governor’s parents offered prayers for Bello, asking for divine protection and blessings as he continues his political journey.

They expressed their belief that his leadership story is far from over and that he is destined for greater achievements.
